Nathan Kelly
Hi, I'm Nathan. I'm a Student at City of Glasgow College studying Journalism, with a specific interest in Music Journalism.
My Story
Growing up, I was an English student through and through. I never faired well with numbers, but I could write to my heart's content.
I was also not very musical growing up. I played the violin from when I was 8-11 years old, however during lockdown I fell deeply in love with listening to specifically hip-hop and r&b music. This started a huge snowball effect, leading me to follow a lot of influencers that review music, listen to more niche stuff and ultimately fall deeper in love with music.
Nowadays, I have become very open-minded with music, giving everything a chance and being able to recognise what I like and dislike.
Music Journalism gives me a chance to share my love with the world, and also opens up endless opportunities for me to interact with the art form.
